Christmas at the Plaza Kicks Off “Holly Jolly” Holiday Event Series

TEMPLE, TX (November 25, 2024) – The City of Temple is excited to announce, “Holly Jolly,” a month-long celebration kicking off the festive season with Christmas at the Plaza, an inaugural event that invites everyone to experience the magic of the holidays together. Join us on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the Santa Fe Plaza for an enchanting evening filled with family-friendly holiday activities, a holiday market with over 50 local vendors to explore, and the debut of the Christmas tree lighting show. 

WHAT: Christmas at the Plaza (Tree Lighting Show and Holiday Market) 

WHEN: Saturday, November 30, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

 WHERE: Santa Fe Plaza, located at 301 W Avenue A, Temple, TX 76501 

Witness the excitement as the City of Temple unveils a spectacular Christmas tree lighting show, browse unique holiday crafts and gifts from local vendors, and indulge in delicious treats from an array of food vendors.  

Guests can expect festive family fun at Christmas on the Plaza with activities like tree decorating, a snowball fight, gingerbread bean bag toss, and face painting. Additionally meet live reindeer, snap a photo under the mistletoe, and shop for live Christmas trees and poinsettias to bring the holiday magic home! Be sure to arrive early for the best spots. 

Public parking is available around the Santa Fe Plaza, the 1st Street Parking Garage, and in surrounding areas. 

This event is just the beginning of “Holly Jolly,” a month-long celebration that will make the season even more spirited and joyful throughout Temple this holiday season.
