TEMPLE, TX (December 29, 2024) – The Temple Police Department is investigating a traffic accident that left one individual deceased.
At around 1:18 a.m. on Sunday, December 29, officers were dispatched to the 21000 block of SE HK Dodgen Loop for a traffic accident. Upon arrival, officers learned a vehicle traveling southbound at a high rate of speed exited the roadway onto the northbound side and struck a tree.
The individual was pronounced deceased on scene by Justice of the Peace Fisher. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
This incident will be investigated by the Temple Police Department Traffic Reconstruction Unit.
