WHAT: Bookmobile Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
WHEN: Saturday, January 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The community is invited to celebrate the launch of this innovative mobile library, designed to serve as a mobile extension of the library. The mobile library will bring books, media, and engaging activities directly to locations across our community. Attendees will have the opportunity to take a tour of the bookmobile, enjoy light refreshments, and participate in family-friendly activities.
“The Exploration Station represents a major step forward in our mission to make library resources accessible to everyone in Temple,” said Natalie Alvara, Director of the Temple Public Library. “This bookmobile will allow us to bring books, media, and activities to neighborhoods, schools, and community events, creating opportunities for learning and connection wherever they are needed most. We are proud to see this vision come to life and are deeply grateful for the community’s support.”
The launch of the Exploration Station was made possible by a generous donation of $83,000 by the Friends of the Temple Public Library. This contribution highlights the Friends of the Library and the community’s commitment to enhancing literacy and lifelong learning for residents of all ages.
