Temple Police Department investigates an aggravated assault, 1 injured

TEMPLE, TX (January 18, 2025) – The Temple Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault where one individual was injured.

At around 1:40 a.m. on Saturday, January 18th officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of S 31st Street for reports of an individual that had been shot. Upon arrival, officers located the victim who stated earlier he had approached the home of a known acquaintance and was shot multiple times through the door. The individual was then transported to the hospital by friends in a personal vehicle.

The victim is in stable condition and does not have life-threatening injuries.

This case is under investigation, and no other information will be released at this time.
