TEMPLE, TX (March 3, 2025) – The Temple Police Department served a felony warrant for an individual with multiple warrants out of Temple, TX.
At around 2:23 p.m. on Monday, March 10, officers went to the 1500 block of Caddo for a warrant service for William Cook. Mr. Cook has warrants out of Temple for assault causing bodily injury, strangulation, and aggravated kidnapping. As officers arrived Mr. Cook was outside the residence, saw the patrol units, and ran inside his residence. It had been previously reported that Mr. Cook had firearms in the residence. Officers set a perimeter, placed an Unmanned Aerial System in the air, and put SWAT on standby. Members of the Crisis Negotiation Team were able to make contact by phone and convince Mr. Cook to come out peacefully and surrender. Officers took Mr. Cook into custody without incident and transported him to Bell County Jail.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
