Event to be held on Saturday, April 5
TEMPLE, TX (March 28, 2025) – Families are invited to explore, climb, and discover a variety of large service vehicles, including a special landing of the PHI helicopter on the Santa Fe Plaza, at the annual Touch-a-Truck Family Day in downtown Temple.

WHAT: Touch-a-Truck Family Day
WHEN: Saturday, April 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
PHI Helicopter: 11:30 am to 2 p.m.
WHERE: Temple Railroad & Heritage Museum, located at 315 W. Avenue B
This free, family-friendly event offers a hands-on opportunity to get up close with emergency vehicles, meet first responders, and engage in interactive activities. Presented by Bell County Public Health and the City of Temple, Touch-a-Truck also features giveaways, local vendors, and resources on safety, health, and disaster preparedness.
Attendees with sensory sensitivities can enjoy a calm and quiet experience during the Special Sensory-Friendly Hour from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
