Survey to remain open through April 18
TEMPLE, TX (March 19, 2025) – As the City of Temple develops the I-35 Corridor Plan, residents are encouraged to share feedback through an online survey about the beautification, connectivity, perception, and safety of Interstate 35. The survey is now available online and will remain open through Friday, April 18.
The Interstate 35 Corridor through Temple plays a significant role in shaping the city's image for visitors and residents. To enhance this area, the city is creating a corridor plan that will outline a vision for improved connectivity, enhanced visual appeal, and increased commercial viability. This plan will guide land use, pedestrian accessibility, intersection improvements, environmental character, and redevelopment guidelines.

Temple I-35 Corridor Study Area
The I-35 Corridor plan is a collaborative effort involving the public, city staff, the Corridor Advisory Committee, the Planning and Zoning Commission, and the City Council. The planning process consists of six key phases: analysis, public input, visioning, advisory committee review, recommendations, and adoption. Together, these phases help establish a clear and informed vision for the corridor's future.

Public input is Phase Two of the planning process, and the feedback received will be used to define the vision of what the corridor should be.
