TEMPLE, TX (July 23, 2025) – The Temple Police Department has identified the victim as 36-year-old Jeremiah Westbrook from Copperas Cove, TX.
TEMPLE, TX (July 22, 2025) – The Temple Police Department is investigating a traffic accident that left one individual deceased.
At around 11:47 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, officers were dispatched to the area of W FM 93 and Treiber Drive for an accident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle. Upon arrival, officers located the motorcyclist, but the other vehicle involved had left the scene. A short time later, the vehicle returned to the accident scene and the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
The motorcyclists sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene by Justice of the Peace Larry Wilkey.
The Temple Police Department Traffic Unit is on scene investigating. This area will be blocked off for several hours.
