Ceremony to be held on Wednesday, October 8
TEMPLE, TX (October 1, 2025) – The City of Temple is hosting its 4th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration to acknowledge and explore how Hispanic culture has impacted the community, and honor local Hispanic leaders and residents.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 8, at 10 a.m.
WHERE: Frank W. Mayborn Civic and Convention Center, located at 3303 N 3rd St.
COST: Free
In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which takes place from September 15 through October 15, the City of Temple is celebrating the Hispanic culture and leadership that has impacted and influenced the community.
The annual event will feature inspiring remarks from Hispanic leaders in our community, along with a proclamation from City of Temple Mayor Tim Davis, highlighting the importance and meaning of Hispanic Heritage.

The event will also feature a Mariachi performance to showcase the rich colors, flavors, history, traditions, and music that are woven into the fabric of Temple’s culture, along with traditional Hispanic desserts for guests to enjoy.
