TEMPLE, TX (August 20, 2025) – The Temple Police Department is investigating a traffic accident that left one individual injured.
At around 10:14 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Everton Drive for reports that a vehicle accelerated into a building. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that had fully entered a building and struck two individuals. The initial investigation suggests that the vehicle was attempting to exit the parking lot when it accelerated into the building.
One individual was transported to the hospital with serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening at this time. The driver of the vehicle and the other individual involved did not sustain any injuries.
The Temple Police Department Traffic Unit and Crime Scene Investigators are on scene investigating.
