TEMPLE, TX (November 25, 2025) - The City of Temple is inviting residents to share their input on the future of James B. Wilson Park, located at 2205 Curtis B. Elliot Dr., through an online community survey. The feedback gathered will help guide the development of a new master plan that reflects the community’s vision and needs.
"James Wilson Park is an important community space, and we want to ensure its future improvements serve all residents. This survey gives our community the opportunity to help shape the park’s design, features, and amenities."
Erin Smith, City of Temple Assistant Manager
The master planning process will evaluate current park amenities, identify opportunities for enhancements, and consider new recreational features that reflect community priorities. Resident input will play a key role in shaping the final plan.
All community members are encouraged to participate in the online survey and provide their thoughts on how the park can best serve Temple families, visitors, and future generations.
An in-person Open House event will be held on Tuesday, December 9, to gather community feedback.
