Meetings to be held November 18 and December 1
TEMPLE, TX (November 18, 2025) – The City of Temple invites residents, neighborhood leaders, developers, and community stakeholders to attend upcoming public meetings introducing Love Where You Build, a new initiative designed to support responsible infill development within city limits.
WHAT: Love Where You Build Public Information Meetings
WHEN: Tuesday, November 18, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, December 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE: MLK Festival Grounds Sunglo Building, located at 301 S 4th St
Developed through the city’s ongoing Neighborhood Planning efforts and inspired by the success of Love Where You Live, this program encourages smart, strategic use of available land and existing infrastructure. Love Where You Build aims to create new opportunities on vacant or underutilized parcels, particularly those that may not be developable under current code requirements, while preserving the character and stability of Temple’s established neighborhoods.

During the event, an in-depth presentation on the program’s goals, tools, and potential impact will be presented. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and discussion on next steps.
