TEMPLE, TX (December 12, 2025) – The City of Temple’s Department of Libraries and Museums is pleased to announce that Dr. Jill Hoffman has been selected as the new manager of the Temple Railroad & Heritage Museum.
Hoffman brings more than 25 years of experience in nationally accredited art and history museums, leading teams, securing major grants, and designing programs that connect history, art, and education at organizations such as the Millicent Rogers Museum in Taos, NM, and the Art Center Waco, among others.

Jill joins us from Texas Tech University, where she has served as a professor, museum educator, and acting director at the Museum at Texas Tech University. Her background blends scholarly expertise with hands-on leadership in museum operations, education, and community engagement. We are fortunate that she will join us in Temple, and I’m confident she will help drive the museum’s continued growth and momentum."

Housed in the historic Santa Fe Depot, the Museum offers permanent and rotating exhibits, school tours, family programs, and event rental opportunities. Located at 315 West Avenue B in Temple, the museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Learn more at templetx.gov/rrhm.
