Public Meeting to be held on Tuesday, December 16
TEMPLE, TX (December 9, 2025) – The City of Temple encourages residents to participate in an upcoming public meeting to review the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for Fiscal Year 2025.
WHAT: CAPER Public Meeting
WHEN: Tuesday, December 16 at 1 p.m.
WHERE: Conference room in the Jeff Hamilton Building, located at 1905 Curtis B Elliot Dr.
The City of Temple receives funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on an annual basis from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)program. This program supports activities to develop and maintain viable urban communities by providing decent housing and suitable living environments and expanding economic opportunities for residents.
The city is required to submit a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report(CAPER) at the conclusion of each program year. Residents’ input and participation is requested as the city reviews the 2024/25 activities. The public comment period begins December 7 and closes at 5 p.m. on December 25.
The CAPER is available for review at the Temple Public Library (100 West Adams Avenue), City Secretary Office (2 N Main Street, Suite 103) and online at templetx.gov/cdbg.
Community members are encouraged to bring their family, friends, and neighbors and help the city evaluate impacts from the previous program year.
