TEMPLE, TX (February 20, 2026) – The Temple Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault that left two individuals injured.
At around 4:49 p.m., on Friday, February 20, officers were dispatched to 000 block of S 1st Street for an aggravated assault. Upon arrival, officers learned that an individual had entered the business, became irate, and began picking up items from inside the business and throwing them. Officers identified the individual as 44-year-old John Pedroza and transported him to Bell County Jail for aggravated assault.
Two of the individuals who worked at the business sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
This case is under investigation, and no other information will be released at this time.
