TEMPLE, TX (March 13, 2026) – The Temple Police Department is investigating a traffic accident that left one individual deceased and one individual injured.
At around 2:01 p.m., on Friday, March 13, officers were dispatched to the area of the 6300 block of N General Bruce Drive for a traffic accident. Upon arrival, officers learned that one vehicle ran the stop sign at N General Bruce Drive and Hart Road, which caused a collision in the intersection, resulting in a rollover accident. Preliminary investigation suggests the first vehicle collided with the second vehicle after failing to stop at a stop sign.
One individual was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased upon arrival. One individual was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Temple Police Department Traffic Unit will be on scene investigating.
