TEMPLE, TX (March 28, 2026) – The Temple Police Department is investigating a traffic accident that left one individual deceased.
At around 4:26 p.m., on Saturday, March 28, officers were dispatched to the area of Lower Troy Road and NE HK Dodgen Loop for a traffic accident. Upon arrival, officers learned a single vehicle had left the roadway and struck a concrete pillar.
One individual was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and pronounced deceased upon arrival. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
The Temple Police Department Traffic Unit will be on scene investigating for several hours. If you need to travel through this area, please use an alternate route.
