Temporary lane closures set to begin July 20
TEMPLE, TX (July 13, 2026) - UPDATE: As part of the City of Temple's Jones Park Project, temporary road closures will be in place to allow for utility improvements.
West Avenue G will be closed from approximately July 20 through July 31 to allow crews to install a storm sewer curb inlet. West Avenue H will be closed from approximately July 20 through July 22 for the construction of a sanitary sewer manhole.

Temporary lane closure set to begin April 6
TEMPLE, TX (March 31, 2026) — A temporary eastbound lane closure will be in place on W Avenue H near South 21st Street beginning Monday, April 6 as part of ongoing wastewater line replacement associated with the Jones Park Improvements project.
The closure will impact eastbound traffic on W Avenue H, reducing travel to one lane and limiting access to South 21st Street. Traffic control measures, including signage, barricades, and arrow boards, and access to residential and commercial driveways will be maintained at all times.
Drivers should use caution in the area and pay attention to all traffic control devices.
