Guided tours to be held monthly beginning April 18
TEMPLE, TX (April 10, 2026) — The Temple Public Library invites residents to discover everything a library card has to offer during a guided library tour on Saturday, April 18. This tour marks the launch of a new monthly initiative designed to help community members explore the full range of library services, resources, and programs available.
WHAT: Learn, Explore, Connect: Tour of the Library
WHEN: Saturday, April 18, at 9 a.m.
WHERE: Temple Public Library, located at 100 W Adams Avenue
This behind-the-scenes experience is designed to help participants explore everything the library has to offer. Led by a library guide, the interactive tour will walk attendees through how to make the most of their library experience.
Participants will:
- Learn how to personalize their library experience
- Explore collections, services, and ongoing programs
- Discover digital resources, including eBooks, audiobooks, language learning tools, and other materials that are all free with a library card

Many people are surprised to learn just how much their library card unlocks. This tour is a great way to get comfortable in the space, connect with our team, and discover resources that support learning, creativity, and everyday life.
