TEMPLE, TX (April 20, 2026) – The Temple Police Department is investigating an aggravated kidnapping.
At around 4:01 a.m., on Monday, April 20, officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of S General Bruce Drive for reports of a kidnapping. Upon arrival, officers learned that earlier in the morning, the two victims had been kidnapped from Temple by multiple individuals and taken to Harker Heights before returning on their own to Temple.
One individual had minor non-life-threatening injuries, and one individual did not sustain any injuries.
The Temple Police Department and Harker Heights Police Department believe this incident and an incident that occurred in Harker Heights are connected and will be conducting a joint investigation.
