Play the Temple Way to be held on Saturday, July 18
TEMPLE, TX (July 1, 2025) – The City of Temple Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to celebrate National Parks & Recreation Month throughout July. Residents are encouraged to take part in a variety of fun and engaging activities leading up to the main event, "Play the Temple Way," at Santa Fe Plaza.
WHAT: Play the Temple Way
WHEN: Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
WHERE: Santa Fe Plaza located at, 301 W Avenue A
The Play the Temple Way event will feature games and challenges for all ages, opportunities to connect with community partners, and a chance to explore the many programs offered by Temple Parks and Recreation. The Recreation Station will also be on site with Big Blue Blocks, gaga ball, axe-throwing and red ball.
Additionally, the City of Temple Parks and Recreation Department will host events throughout the month of July with special treats and opportunities to connect with the community. Some of the featured activities include free entry to Clark Pool and half-price range balls at Sammons Golf Course and more.
