TEMPLE, TX (July 10, 2026) – The Temple Police Department is investigating a family assault with weapons that left one individual injured.
At around 5:15 p.m. on Friday, July 10, officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of S 19th Street for a family disturbance with weapons. Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile causing a disturbance while holding a kitchen knife. The juvenile began advancing with the knife toward officers. Officers responded to the threat by deploying a beanbag round. The juvenile dropped the knife and was taken into custody.
The juvenile was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
