TEMPLE, TX (August 28, 2026) – The City of Temple's Parks & Recreation, Aquatics Division, is closing out the summer with a pool day just for dogs.
WHAT: Dunkin' Doggies
WHEN: Saturday, September 12, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
WHERE: Lions Junction Family Water Park, located at 5000 S 5th St.
Through Loop 363's sponsorship of the event, the first 50 dogs to arrive get in free, and a giveaway table will be located at the park entrance. After the first 50, entry is $5 per dog. Proof of rabies vaccination is required for entry.
Dunkin' Doggies is one of the most anticipated events our division puts on each year. The community looks forward to it, and so does our staff. Seeing all the dogs dressed up and ready to swim brings a lot of joy to everyone in attendance. Dunkin' Doggies is such a fun way to close out the season here at Lions Junction.

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests:
- Dogs must be current on rabies vaccination and have proof through printed document from veterinarian or use of PetDesk app
- Owners are responsible for supervising and cleaning up after their pets
- Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated
- Humans are not permitted in the water attractions
The pool is drained and cleaned after Dunkin' Doggies concludes the season. This event is open to dogs of all sizes and registration is not required.
