TEMPLE, TX (June 26, 2026) – The City of Temple will host the 28th Annual H-E-B 4th of July Fun Fest & Fireworks Show on Saturday, July 4, at Crossroads Park.

The City of Temple is excited to invite the community to celebrate America's 250th Independence Day at the 28th Annual H-E-B 4th of July Fun Fest & Fireworks Show.
The opening ceremony will include daytime fireworks, skydivers and a welcome by Uncle Sam & Mayor Tim Davis. Groove Knight will take the Superior HealthPlan stage at 7 p.m. Additional entertainment throughout the evening will include stilt walkers, DJs throughout the park, food and beverage vendors, inflatable games and a variety of other activities. The night will end with a fireworks finale presented by H-E-B. The Recreation Station and Exploration Station will also be on-site with activities for families to enjoy. A cooling station sponsored by Chad Jones Law will be available to guests throughout the event.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, picnic baskets and lawn chairs to enjoy the fireworks show, which will begin at 9:30 p.m. The display will last approximately 20 minutes and can be viewed from Crossroads Park and nearby neighborhoods. Attendees can also download the Pyrocast App and use code “4PPN” for a synced fireworks soundtrack experience.
Parking is free and available throughout Crossroads Park on a first-come, first-served basis. All lots will close at 8 p.m. or when full. Traffic delays are expected as showtime approaches, so early arrival is recommended. The city asks attendees to leave pets at home for the safety and well-being of all guests and animals.

As a reminder, there is a no-smoking policy in all City of Temple parks, and no fireworks are allowed within city limits. Event parking lots close at 8 p.m.
The City of Temple also reminds residents that selling, possessing and/or setting off fireworks is illegal within Temple city limits. The City asks residents to celebrate Independence Day safely by celebrating without the bang.
Fireworks can have a negative impact on individuals with PTSD, cause injury to people of all ages and damage property. Additionally, fireworks can scare animals, causing an increase in lost pet reports.
