Temple, TX - (June 21, 2025) Temple Fire and Rescue responded to the report of a gas leak to the area of 12th Street and Ruggles Loop. Currently, 12th Street is closed from Ruggles Loop to Killen Lane.
At this time, 4 homes in the area have been evacuated. Atmos Energy is already on scene awaiting the arrival of their dig crew.
Please avoid the area as crews remain on scene.
