Three displaced after midnight structure fire.
TEMPLE, TX (July 6, 2025) - Late last night at 11:51pm, Temple Fire and Rescue was dispatched to the report of a structure fire of a residence located at 265 Eagle Landing Dr. First arriving crews found heavy smoke in the area, and large flames coming through the roof at the back of the home.
Those crews quickly began extinguishment efforts as other units began to arrive. Initial search showed that all 3 occupants were able to evacuate without injury. Due to the amount of fire inside the residence and the instability of the roof, a defensive operation from the exterior, was begun to keep firefighting crews safe. The blaze was determined to be under control at 1:23am.
Temple Fire and Rescue responded with a 2 alarm response, getting 7 units and 19 personnel to the scene. Also on scene were Temple Police Department, Belton Fire Department, Morgans Point Resort Fire Department, and Temple EMS.
