Ceremony to be held at Central Fire Station at 8:30 a.m.
TEMPLE, TX (September 4, 2025) – Temple Fire and Rescue will host a ceremony to honor and remember those who tragically lost their lives September 11.
WHAT: Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
WHEN: Thursday, September 11, at 8:30 a.m.
WHERE: Central Fire Station, located at 210 N Third St, Temple, TX 76501
Temple Fire and Rescue invites the public to attend a 9/11 Memorial Service at Central Station to pay respects to the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001. The service will feature opening remarks and the ringing of the bell commemorating a line-of-duty death and marking the collapse of the World Trade Center’s South and North towers.
“This ceremony serves as a reminder of the courage shown and the innocent lives lost on September 11,” said Temple Fire Chief Mitch Randles. “It’s a day to reflect, honor their sacrifice, and support all who continue to be affected by that tragic day.”
This event is free and open to the public.
