Firefighters respond to evening blaze.
Temple, Texas (January 10, 2026) - This evening at 6:50pm, Temple Fire and Rescue responded to the report of a structure fire in west Temple. Upon arrival crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof of a fire located at 716 Coastal Dr. Extinguishment efforts quickly knocked down the flames, bringing the incident under control.
An initial search of the residence, found that the sole occupant had evacuated without injury. However, he was later examined by EMS for an unrelated medical condition. No other injuries have been reported with this incident.
Temple Fire and Rescue responded with 10 Units and 22 personnel. Also on scene were Belton Fire Department, Temple Police Department, and Temple EMS. Please avoid the area is possible, as crews remain on scene.
