Ceremony to be held at Central Fire Station at 8:30 a.m.
TEMPLE, TX (September 4, 2026) – Temple Fire and Rescue will host a ceremony to honor and remember those who tragically lost their lives September 11, 2001.
WHAT: Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
WHEN: Friday, September 11, at 8:30 a.m.
WHERE: Central Fire Station, located at 210 N Third St.
Temple Fire and Rescue invites the public to attend a 9/11 Memorial Service at Central Station to pay respects to the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001. The service will feature opening remarks and the ringing of the bell commemorating a line-of-duty death and marking the collapse of the World Trade Center’s South and North towers.
This ceremony invites residents to come and remember the tragedy and impact of September 11, 2001. We honor the strength and courage of everyone affected by that day, and remember the innocent lives that were lost.
