The City of Temple is currently preparing the 2025-2026 Annual Action Plan and the Five-Year Consolidated Plan for fiscal years 2025-2029. These plans will identify priority needs in affordable housing and community development in Temple and detail how the city will invest CDBG funds to address these needs.
Community input is a key part of the planning process, and these public meetings will allow residents to provide feedback on fair housing, affordable housing, economic development, and community development needs. A hybrid option will be available for individuals to join remotely by visiting templetx.gov/cdbg.
Residents can also complete a 10-minute online survey, available in English and Spanish, to provide feedback. This survey will remain open until March 31, 2025.
Summaries of the proposed plans are anticipated to be published in July 2025, followed by a 30-day public review period before submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by August 15, 2025.
