Grant workshop to be held on Tuesday, November 4
TEMPLE, TX (October 23, 2025) – The City of Temple’s Housing & Community Development Department is announcing the upcoming funding opportunity through the Temple Community Partnership Program. Applications will open for both the Community Enhancement Grant and the Heritage and Arts Grant from October 27 through November 27, 2025.
To assist interested applicants, the City will host a grant workshop to provide an overview of the programs and application process.

The Community Enhancement Grant provides a total of $40,000 in funding to support programs focused on employment, housing stability, childcare, food security, transportation, and similar initiatives. The funding will be distributed among up to eight grantees in $5,000 increments. Eligible expenses may include marketing, outreach, administrative costs, and equipment purchases directly related to the proposed project.
The Heritage and Arts Grant will provide up to $200,000 in funding to support programs or services that promote the arts, tourism, and Temple’s rich heritage. Eligible programs may include visual and performing arts, museum exhibits, or tourism-related activities. Marketing, program support, and operational costs directly tied to the project may also be considered eligible expenses.
