Temple Police Department investigates a traffic accident, 1 deceased

TEMPLE, TX (February 10, 2026) – The Temple Police Department has been informed that the 16‑year‑old victim who sustained life‑threatening injuries has, unfortunately, succumbed to those injuries.

TEMPLE, TX (January 25, 2026) – UPDATE: The Temple Police Department has identified the suspect involved as 31-year-old Jilberto Jaimes. Jaimes has also been charged with deadly conduct – habitation, a third-degree felony.
